Alpine Heating and cooling has been servicing our air conditioning and refrigeration equipment at our property for the last 9 years. Throughout that time we have been satisfied with the knowledge, service and workmanship of the boys. Keep it up team.
Recently our hitachi inverter on the central heating and cooling system broke down and we called on alpine heating and cooling to assess the problem.
They believed the problem was a faulty compressor but as it was an old unit it may not be possible to still source parts.
They did not charge for the call out as they said they had not fixed the problem.
Subsequently they found a compressor to be available interstate and asked if we wanted to go ahead. They said they could not be sure this would be the only problem with the unit as the circuitry could not be tested without the unit working.
As the house was on the market we wished to spend as little as possible and the alternative would have been replacing the whole unit.
After some discussion we agreed to take a chance and replace the compressor.
Luckily this fixed the problem and saved considerable expense.
We are very grateful to “alpine”that they went to the trouble of repairing the old unit, not just recommending fitting a new unit which would have been the easy way out.
The office staff, the team in particular, and the team who carried out the repairs were polite and helpful, and we would have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone else.
